Janome Button Sew-on Foot
Quick and easy button sewing with the special button sewing foot.
This foot has two bars that attach to the foot shank to provide extra stability and also has a textured, rubber sleeve to hold the button securely in place while sewing.
If a slightly loose fit is required: place a cocktail stick in the centre of the foot.
Handy tip: Use transparent tape to temporarily position and hold the buttons in place along the garment. The tape can easily be removed after sewing.
The video on this page relates to sewing on buttons with four holes – the foot will also sew buttons with two holes, plus it can be used for attaching rings, snap fasteners, hooks & eyes, trouser fasteners, small decorative items and more.
